Show Your Otherside Interview

Show Your Otherside is a Pop Punk/Easycore band from Kecskemét, Hungary,that formed in 2011. They just recently put out a new ep "Heartbeats", check it out on http://www.facebook.com/messages/895665592#!/syoband/info. I got the pleasure to interview them.
TTEC: I don't know much about the music scene in hungary, only bands I know are you guys & till we drop
Show Your Otherside:There’re lots of talented bands in our little country . you can find in every genres really good ones . This genre what we represent is not too well known here, but we can mention Mayday!Mayday! and Have No Clue and more admirable bands which are worth mentioning.
Furthermore, near to Kecskemét(where we live) also have friends,they play metalcore/alternative hardcore it’s called Stubborn, you should listen them ’cause they’re awesome! If we have to say the biggest and the most succesful band in Hungary who play a lot abroad we’d say The Southern Oracle and Till We Drop now.
TTEC: How has the feeback been on the ep "heartbeats"?
Show Your Otherside: Luckily, We got a lot of positive feedback. We're not trying to be over confident, we just want every critic and advice we can get. We have to improve a lot.
TTEC:Any tours coming up? if so with who and where?
Show Your Otherside:Yes, We’re planning a tour with Stubborn during the spring in Hungary. Eight or nine stations are planned. We’ve never had a tour abroad yet but hope there will be soon.
The current tour is the hungarian tour.
TTEC:Who are some influences?
Show Your Otherside: Four Year Strong and Memphis May Fire are the most dominant bands in our lives.
All of us listen to different music beside these. For example The Devil Wears Prada, Architects, Chelsea Grin and some softer songs
TTEC: What is your favorite thing and least favorite thing about being in a band?
Show Your Otherisde:.It's a great feeling when someone sings your songs that you created. We're not just members,we're a big family and good friends, it gives us more inspiration and strength.
We couldn't mention any reason (why is it 'bad' to be in a band).Of course patience, cooperation and creativity are necessary for working.
TTEC:Any music videos coming up anytime soon?
Show Your Otherside:Yes, after writing songs we’d like to make one maybe at the end of the winter.
Hopefully it’s going to be a new song and our first music video as well.
TTEC: Anything else you dudes want to share with everyone?
