Check them on Facebook. i got the pleasure to Interview them, check below the Q/A which i had with Losing Streak mates.
TTEC: How You Came Up with your Name "Losing Streak"?
The real origin of our name has been lost in history of the band. Everyone in the band has their own interpretation of it at this point. Erik thinks it’s because we’re all losers so it would fit. Dieter thinks it has to do with the fact that he’s been in 10 bands that have all failed before this one. So we all have our own story related to it.
TTEC: How has the feedback been on your first EP "The Long Run"?
We’ve received nothing but positive feedback on the EP thus far which is great!
TTEC: Any Plan for a Music Video?
We may be looking to film one over the summer. More than likely though, we’ll be doing one for our next release which should be out later this year.
TTEC: So who are your influences?
Everybody in the band grew up listening to bands like New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day, so they have definitely influenced our sound and song writing. Currently we’ve been into bands like The Story So Far, Such Gold, and Title Fight, so those guys certainly influence us as well.
TTEC: How did you Guys Form?
Losing Streak is essentially members of three old local bands combined into one. We all knew each other previously through these old projects, and eventually we all just came together.
TTEC: What is your Favorite and least favorite thing about being in a band?
Playing music is our favorite thing to do, especially when you can do it with your friends. Playing shows is probably the best part of being in a band because you’re able to share your music with people in person. I can’t really think of any negatives about being in this band. Lugging gear in and out of shows isn’t usually the highlight of our night though.
TTEC: Are You guys on tour and \if so with who?if not do you have any
coming up and with who?
We aren’t on tour at the moment. However we’re hoping to throw together a short east coast run this summer.
TTEC: Anything else you want to share?
